Breaking the Law of Stress

Stress has a bad reputation. No news there, but research suggests that it is the mindset that stress is bad that makes it bad for us. So, viewing stress as helpful, not harmful, is a step toward better health.

While reducing stress overall is of paramount importance, this webinar will provide legal professionals with tools to better handle unavoidable personal and professional stress, and to use it to your advantage. The focus will be on practical strategies that you can immediately use to manage the stress in your life instead of letting it manage you.

Managing Your Energy More Resourcefully

Most of us are aware of the benefit of time management and may have taken a program or two on the topic with positive impact. Nevertheless, lawyers are working longer and longer hours making them more susceptible to burnout, and no matter how well one manages time, it is a finite resource. Energy, on the other hand, can be expanded and replenished on multiple levels.

In 1-hour, you will learn how to manage your energy more effectively, which can lead to improved decision-making, strengthened relationships and an increased capacity to get things done.

Living with Loss: What Will Help Me? How Can I Support Others?

Loss comes in many forms. Non-death related losses triggered by changes in circumstance, either personally or professionally OR the death of a friend, family member or colleague is a sad and inevitable part of life. Grief can often be overwhelming and confusing, particularly if you don’t know what to expect.

As a legal professional, you’re frequently dealing with loss and grief. No matter the situation, loss is often highly impactful on many levels and many legal professionals struggle with knowing how to respond to their own and other’s grief. Whether at the personal or professional level, there is no “right” way to grieve or perfect words to say to another.

This interactive, online webinar will focus on reframing our mindset on what’s “normal”, provide strategies on how to manage our professional relationships with clients, colleagues and others, and practical tools for healing from loss at the personal level.
