This course is designed for students who are considering applying to graduate legal studies without an LL.B, JD, or equivalent degree from Canada. The objective of this course is to provide students with an introduction to private law in Canada, including Contracts, Torts, Property and Business Organizations. In addition to traditional style lectures, the course is designed for students to critically engage with the material through participation in class exercises.

Pre/anti-requisites

This course is only open to students in the Graduate Diploma in Foundations of Canadian Law program; it is not open to LLM students.
